As promised, here is the work for the seventh grade independent project.
POWER POINT - Due Friday 4/10
Get started on it, and I will give you a rubric on Monday for grading.
You should have (at least) the following slides:
1. Title
2. Question to Be Answered
3. Hypothesis
4. Materials
5. Safety Consideration
6. Procedure
7. Results - Data and Observations
8. Results - Graph and/or Pictures
9. Conclusion
**You may have more than one slide for each topic. This is a big grade, so be very conscientious about your work!**
Lab (Written) Report - Due Monday 4/13
You should have all of this completed through the literature review. You may still want to make some revisions on these sections. Use your lab report guidelines for more detailed instructions on this section. You still need to complete:
DATA/OBSERVATIONS - Which should include a DATA CHART and a GRAPH (you may also have pictures here if your group used them to catalog your results).
Conclusion - This should be AT LEAST 4-5 paragraphs discussing: your hypothesis, measurement tools and the effectiveness of your procedure, data and graphs, interesting observations, limitations of your experiment and any difficulty you had that may have effected your results, commentary on how your research contributed to your overall experiment. These do not need to be in this order, nor are you limited to these topics. Again, this is a MAJOR grade, and you want to be as thorough as possible. Good luck!!
